The next IRSE Australasian Technical Meeting will be held in Perth on 10th to 12th October 2024.

Theme: Back to Basics

With the increasing use of more advanced technology, the need to maintain adherence to basic signalling principles is even more imperative. This applies not only to core signalling requirements, but also to other critical interfaces (track, operations, electrical, etc).

It further looks for the 'balance' between the use of new ideas leading to improvements in rail control, signalling and communications systems, whilst at the same retaining basic principles including those involving design, testing and human factors.
