This paper provides details of the passenger information systems for (predominantly) metropolitan stations in NSW and in particular the new automated computer based system utilising "Plasma Screen style indicators" delivered for key stations immediately prior to the Sydney Olympic Games. The paper describes the various information systems and equipment and the project issues and customer feedback on the new information systems.
