198811 – McCutcheon & Leeder – STA Train Describer & Passenger Information System

This paper describes the scope of the Train Describer and Passenger Information System which is currently being installed and commissioned on the Adelaide STA Urban Passenger Train System.

The overall system architecture is described together with brief technical description of the facilities provided by the equipment and some of the difficulties encountered.
