Within 5 years there will be a crosstown network of 330 kilometres of SmartBus routes to complement the existing 600 kilometres of radial rail network• Capacity to carry more and more train passengers• From a Tramway to a Light Rail system• Programs to fix interchanges and add Park and Ride capacity• Essential safety and communications systems replaced• Will carry extra 50 million public transport passengers by 2010
