Younger Members Society

The purpose of a professional body, such as the IRSE, is to advance the knowledge and practice of the profession through developing, supporting, regulating and promoting professional standards for technical and ethical competence.

The purpose of a younger members group, such as the IRSEA YMS, within a professional body is to focus on the needs of those in the initial professional development stage of their career.

  • An IRSE Australasian Section member (at any grade of membership); and
  • Identify as being in the initial professional development stage of your railway control systems engineering career (typically the first ten years of experience).
